Risk assessment
Working through your camp's risks, the controls you have, and the plan you'll act on.
- Start your risk assessmentThe six stages, what to finish first, how your answers save, and what you get at the end.
- Identify your risksStage 2. Go through the risks suggested from your camp profile, put the ones that apply on your register, and set the rest aside.
- Assess likelihood and impactStage 3. Rate each risk on your register from 1 to 5 for likelihood and impact, and how the platform turns those ratings into a score and a band.
- Record your controlsStage 4. For each risk, say which suggested controls you have, partly have, need or don't need, and add your own.
- Build your safety planStage 5. Choose which of the actions your controls raised you'll take on, using the priority groups to compare value against effort.
- Assign and track actionsStage 6. Say what each action involves, give it an owner and a due date, publish it, and keep its status up to date until it's done.
- Add your own riskAdd a risk the assessment didn't suggest, either from TSN's library or written in your own words, and take it through the stages like any other.
- Work on it togetherSeveral people can work on your camp's risk assessment at once. How saving works, what happens when two people change the same answer, and who can see it.
